‘Euphoria’: Season 2 Premiere Date and Teaser Revealed
Fans of the hit HBO Max show, get ready for some euphoric news. Euphoria‘s season 2 release date has finally been revealed, and it seems that fans won’t have to wait much longer to see what Rue, Jules, and the rest of the gang have been up to. Euphoria season 2 returns on January 9!
Euphoria‘s first season, released in 2019, was a massive success. The show’s premise gave “A look at life for a group of high school students as they grapple with issues of drugs, sex and violence.” Its popularity skyrocketed and the drama garnered three Emmy Awards, with Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama by Zendaya, Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
Since then, two holiday specials were released, one following main character Rue and the other following Jules. The specials left off on quite dark notes, so it will be interesting seeing what’s to come in the next installment of their adventures, especially considering the new teaser (above) that just dropped.
The show’s star-studded cast includes Zendaya (Rue Bennet), Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard), Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs), Barbie Ferreira (Kat Hernandez), Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez), Angus Cloud (Fez), Eric Dane (Cal Jacobs), Maude Apatow (Lexi Howard), Storm Reid (Gia Bennet), Algee Smith (Chris McKay), and more.
Euphoria will return for season 2 on January 9 on HBO Max. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
