The origin story of Father Christmas is due to premiere in just a few weeks, and the film’s official trailer has now been released!

A Boy Called Christmas follows an ordinary young boy, Nikolas, who sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comic, and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible.

This new trailer gives audiences a sneak peek at the whimsical and heartwarming holiday cheer that the film has in store.

The film is directed by Gil Kenan and adapted from Matt Haig’s bestselling novel. It stars Henry Lawfull, Toby Jones, Sally Hawkins, Kristen Wiig, Michiel Huisman, Zoe Colletti, Stephen Merchant, Joel Fry, Rune Temte, Jim Broadbent, and Maggie Smith.

A Boy Called Christmas will land in theaters in select territories starting November 18, while other select regions will see the film launch on Netflix on November 24.
