We’re in the single-digit countdown to Dexter: New Blood and star Michael C. Hall is set to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He will appear on Tuesday, November 2.

Hall is best known for his role as Dexter Morgan on Showtime’s Dexter. The show initially ran for eight seasons from 2006-2013. In October of last year, Showtime announced the series’ revival. Titled Dexter: New Blood, the revival sees Dexter now living in the town of Iron Lake, NY. He now lives under the name Jim Lindsay and has made a new life for himself — including resisting the urges of his Dark Passenger. But when a case rocks the town, Dexter finds that resisting isn’t so easy after all.

Along with Hall, Dexter alums Jennifer Carpenter (Debra Morgan) and John Lithgow (Arthur Mitchell/Trinity) return. Viewers will also see an older Harrison Morgan, played by Jack Alcott. Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, Clancy Brown, and Jamie Chung also star, among others.

On October 30 and 31, Hall’s band Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum will perform at the Mercury Lounge in New York City. Tickets are available here. Their music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT on CBS. Hall appears on Friday, November 2.

Dexter: New Blood premieres on Sunday, November 7 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Showtime. Stay tuned for our recaps and review. In the meantime, find all our coverage on the show here.
