‘The Lost Daughter’: Netflix Releases Trailer for Olivia Colman Drama

Netflix has released the first trailer for The Lost Daughter! The film will star Olivia Colman and feature Normal People breakout star Paul Mescal in his film debut. Netflix also released a short synopsis for the film.

“A woman’s beach vacation takes a dark turn when her obsession with a young mother forces her to confront the secrets of her past.”

The Lost Daughter is the directorial debut of actor Maggie Gyllenhaal, who also wrote the script based off the novel by Elena Ferrante. The cast also includes Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, Ed Harris, Peter Sarsgaard, and Dagmara Dominczyk. You can watch the trailer below. The film will hit Netflix on December 31.
