On September 9, in partnership with Humble Bundle, legendary storyteller and bestselling author Stephen King released his newest short story, “Red Screen,” as the first ever Humble Exclusive. With Humble Exclusives, Humble partners with innovative content creators to provide exclusive content to support charities.
“Red Screen” is available now through September 16. The never before published story follows a cop who interrogates a deranged plumber who just murdered his wife. But something far more insidious is discovered.
Mystery, thriller, and crime fiction fans everywhere can purchase “Red Screen” on Humble Bundle through a pay-what-you-can model ($5 minimum). 100% of the proceeds will support the American Civil Liberties Union.
Kamini Tiwari, Humble’s VP of Social Impact, talked about the exciting exclusive tale in a press release:
“We’re so excited to partner with one of the world’s most respected names in fiction, Stephen King, to bring book lovers a brand new story to dive into. We’re also honored to work with the ACLU for this Humble Exclusive to support their nationwide efforts to protect people’s rights and civil liberties.”
