Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) has been tapped to star in and produce Cadence13’s first feature-length podcast, Treat. Variety was first to report.
From C13Features, Cadence13’s audio movie division, Treat sees what seems to be a perfect American town on the outside. Its residents have made dealings with an outsider that possesses supernatural powers to help restore the town. However, they begin to slack on payments so a group of teens led by Allie West (Shipka) must unlock the secret to his powers.
Treat will premiere on October 25 on all major podcast platforms.
