It’s the announcement fans of Leverage have been waiting for! On October 8 the popular revival show will be returning with new episodes on IMDbTV. The exciting news was shared with fans in a unique way with a video including all the lead actors on the show’s official Twitter page.

The show will return with episodes nine through 16, concluding the series’ first season. For readers unfamiliar with the history of Leverage: Redemption, the show is a revival of the original TNT series Leverage that went off the air in 2012. The show flew under the radar for many but over the years had developed a loyal fan following. Leverage: Redemption brings back many of the original cast members with Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Gina Bellman and the occasional appearance of Aldis Hodge bringing back the old criminals to heroes crew that we love. With the new series viewers were introduced to some new faces, Aleyse Shannon as Breanna Casey and Noah Wyle as Harry Wilson.

These new episodes will bring along some exciting new guest star announcements as well! Fans of the original Leverage series will see a familiar face when Drew Powell reprises his role of Jack Hurley. Alongside Hurley will be Ben Thompson, Joanna Cassidy, Jon Fletcher, Brianna Brown, and Andrea Navedo. Joining these will be the immensely talented James Marsters, known from his work on Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and LeVar Burton, who needs no introduction (but you should recognize him from Reading Rainbow and Star Trek).

One of the new episodes will be the directorial debut for Beth Risegraf who plays the charming but unusual thief Parker. Her debut will be the episode with Burton.
