Comic-Con@Home Announces Free Watch Parties For Fans!
Comic-Con@Home has teamed up with Scener for the second year to create free watch parties for fans and their friends!
Scener is a watch party platform that allows friends to watch movies and other events together. This year at Comic-Con@Home, there will be several virtual theaters available to watch classic films like Superman, The Goonies, and the Star Wars films while chatting with other virtual attendees. Scener will be hosting two Comic-Con@Home virtual theaters to allow for even more programming. The watch party lineups are listed at @cc-films1 and @cc-films2.
“Teaming up with Comic-Con@Home for the second year in a row is extremely exciting for us because we’re able to further our founding mission — to connect people over their shared love of film genres — with the world’s premier comics event. San Diego Comic-Con was among the first to effectively deliver a virtual festival with Comic-Con@Home in 2020 and we’re thrilled to be a continued affiliation, especially as virtual co-viewing experiences grow in popularity and momentum.”
Joe Braidwood, co-founder and COO at Scener
Scener supports Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Prime Video, YouTube, Funimation, Vimeo, Alamo Drafthouse on Demand. Each participant needs a free account at www.scener.com and an active subscription to the streaming platform hosting the movie. Head over to Comic-Con@Home’s programming page to find the full lineup.
