Time to get excited, Batwoman fans. Deadline is reporting that Robin Givens is joining the season 3 cast! She will be a series regular.
Givens will play Jada Jet, a powerful CEO for Jet Industries. She works hard throughout her life to make her way to the top. She’s “passionate and hard-working,” and is protective over her son. She has a good heart but will do what she must to protect her family.
One of the most important nuggets of information about Jada, though, is a past that forced her to give up her firstborn. In the season 2 finale, Alice tells Ryan that her biological mother is still alive, despite Ryan growing up to believe otherwise. While there’s no official confirmation yet, all signs point to Jada being Ryan’s birth mother.
How large a role will Jada play in Ryan/Batwoman’s life? What will Ryan dig up about her past and her birth mother? We can’t wait to find out.
