Dwayne Johnson has done it all, and now he’s lending himself to Amazon Studios’ holiday film Red One. The film reunites Johnson with writer Chris Morgan, who worked together on Hobbs & Shaw.

At this time, there aren’t many details on Red One. However, it’s to be a “whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Vague, but the is hope to turn it out from strictly film into other properties as well.

Johnson will produce alongside Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia for Seven Bucks Productions. Morgan will produce alongside overseeing the script.

Johnson has a number of projects in store, including Jungle Cruise, Red Notice, DC League of Super-Pets with Keanu Reeves and Diego Luna, and Black Adam.

Red One will shoot in 2022 with a release set for 2023.
