Apple TV+ has released a teaser for the Apple Original limited series The Shrink Next Door. Starring Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell, psychiatrist Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd) first teaches longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell) how to get better at controlling his boundaries. The series is based on the podcast from Wondery and Bloomberg Media.
As their doctor-patient relationship progresses, Dr. Herschkopf slowly begins inserting himself into Marty’s life, eventually moving into his Hamptons home and persuading Marty to name him president of the family business.
The eight episode limited series also stars Kathryn Hahn as Phyllis, Marty’s younger sister, and Casey Wilson as Bonnie, the wife of Dr. Herschkopf.
The first three episodes premiere November 12 with new episodes releasing every Friday.
