Ahead of the F9 premiere in just a week, a new featurette with newcomer Grammy-winning artist Cardi B has been released! The clip introduces her character Leysa and how she got involved with the Fast Family.
In F9, Dom, Letty, and Brian are living quietly off-grid, but they know there are threats lurking on the horizon. When Jakob (John Cena), Dom’s brother, reenters the picture he will be forced to confront his past to save the ones he loves most with the help of his crew.
F9 is directed by Justin Lin with a screenplay by Daniel Casey and Lin. Producers include Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Joe Roth, Clayton Townsend, and Samantha Vincent.
Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron star. The film also features a cameo by Reggaeton sensation Ozuna.
F9 premieres in US theaters on June 25, tickets are on sale now.
