Camrus Johnson’s Luke Fox is finally taking on the role of Batwing, and The CW has released the first look photos of him in the suit! Find them below.

For most of Batwoman‘s run thus far, Luke has been Batwoman’s eyes and ears, using his computer and general tech smarts to help her navigate many a hairy situation. Luke had the chance to thrive in the field during this season’s 10th episode, but now, we can expect him to have a much larger role in the field.

While details remain few and far between for how this will play out in the show, we do know that season 3 will fully flesh out Batwing’s storyline. As this means Luke can’t also sit behind the computer, it’s likely that Mary, maybe with the help of Sophie (who’s now an ex-Crow) will take over the role from Luke. Whatever happens, we can’t wait to see Batwing in action!

About the introduction of Batwing, Johnson said: “The main reason I wanted to be in Batwoman was for this opportunity – to give kids like me another Black hero to look up to and relate to. It’s hard not to smile when I catch myself in the mirror with the bat symbol on my chest, and I’ll keep smiling through every fight scene, every awesome stunt, and every Gotham night where Batwing is finally in the field!”

Batwoman airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on The CW. Find our weekly recaps and other coverage here.
