Set Sail With ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ in Behind the Scenes First Look Released by Netflix

Netflix’s Geeked Week officially kicked off today with a number of first looks and official trailers. At the end of the presentation, they had another treat just for fans of the History Vikings series: the first official look at the upcoming spin-off series Vikings: Valhalla! The behind-the-scenes video was introduced by Sam Corlett, who is playing Leif Erikson.

Vikings: Valhalla is set in the 11th century, 100 years after the original took place. Other notable Vikings will also be portrayed in the series, including Freydis Eriksdotter (played by Frida Gustavsson), Harald Sigurdsson (played by Leo Suter), King Canute (played by Bradley Freegard), Olaf Haraldson (played by Jóhannes Jóhannesson), Emma of Normandy (played by Laura Belin), Earl Godwin (played by David Oakes), Jarl Haakon (played by Caroline Henderson), Queen (played by Pollyanna McIntosh), and Jarl Kåre (played by Asbjørn Korgh Kissen). The streaming service has ordered a total of 24 episodes.
