Shudder Acquires Exclusive Streaming Rights for Filip Jan Rymsza’s Psycho Thriller ‘Mosquito State’

Shudder, the AMC Networks premium streaming service for all things horror, thriller, and the supernatural, has acquired the exclusive streaming rights for Filip Jan Rymsza’s Mosquito State. The psycho-thriller will join the streaming service’s Summer of Chills summer lineup, which will feature a new movie every week.

The film tells the story of Richard Boca (Beau Knapp), a Wall Street data analysis who is obsessed with his work and keeps himself locked inside his New York Penthouse. Richard begins to notice that his computer models acting strange, along with a horrifying Mosquito infestation in his apartment contributing to a complete psychological meltdown.

Mosquito State stars Beau Knapp, Charlotte Vega, Jack Kesy, and Olivier Martinez. It was written by Filip Jan Rymsza and Mario Zermeno and directed by Filip Jan Rymsza. The film will start streaming on August 26 only on Shudder.
