WATCH: The Star Studded Opening Ceremony of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park
Avengers Campus is finally opening up to the public on June 4, and on Wednesday, June 2, Disney held an opening ceremony for their newest park with a few surprise special guests.

At the opening ceremony, President of Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige came out to see the opening of the park, ensuring fans that the park will continue to grow with the MCU building alongside the cinematic universe.
Paul Rudd came out to introduce the Pym Test Kitchen and some videos from a few friends, Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Paul Bettany (Vision), and Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel).
Jon Favreau, a man so important to the MCU as the person who helped usher the very first film, Iron Man, into the world, appeared atop the Avengers Compound to introduce the Campus’ own Iron Man in his Mark 80 suit, a suit never seen before in the MCU.
The Avengers came out to join Iron Man atop the compound, including a late arrival by Spider-Man and showing off the Campus’ impressive Spidey animatronics as well.
A surprise visit from Captain America, Anthony Mackie, closed out the ceremony as he passed off the vibranium shield to Avengers Campus’ Captain America.
