New ‘Star Wars: The High Republic’ Mini-Series Coming to Marvel Comics

More stories within the Star Wars: The High Republic era are coming to fruition, and this one is unlike any we’ve seen so far.

According to StarWars.com, Star Wars: The High Republic: Trail Of Shadows follows Jedi Emerick Caphtor as he teams up with a “high-end, in-demand private detective” to solve a deadly mystery at the Republic Fair.

Written by Daniel José Older, with art from David Wachter and colors by Giada Marchisio, Older says that there are “weird and terrifying threads” to unravel within this story.

Trail Of Shadows will connect directly with the new Cavan Scott novel The Rising Storm, which comes out on June 29.

The High Republic publishing campaign takes place hundreds of years before the start of the Skywalker Saga in The Phantom Menace. It shows the Jedi at their peak, their most powerful.
