Michiel Huisman Joins Cast of Apple Thriller ‘Echo 3’

Apple’s upcoming international thriller Echo 3, which was given a straight-to-series order last summer, has announced its latest casting news. Joining the previously announced Luke Evans is Michiel Huisman, known for his roles in Game of Thrones, The Haunting of Hill House, and most recently The Flight Attendant.
Written by Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) and produced by Apple and Keshet Studios, Echo 3 is a 10-part series set in South America. It follows the story of Amber Chesborough, a brilliant young scientist that goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border. Amber’s brother and husband, two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts, struggle to find her in a layered personal drama set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Luke Evans would be taking on the role of Amber’s brother Bambi. Meanwhile, Huisman will portray her husband, Prince.
Echo 3 is based on the award-winning Keshet Broadcasting series When Heroes Fly (created by Omri Givon) and inspired by the eponymous novel by Amir Gutfreund. Boal serves as showrunner alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Jason Horwitch.
