Animated Superman is heading back to the small screen! HBO Max and Cartoon Network have announced their newest series, My Adventures With Superman. The series will see Jack Quaid (The Boys) as Clark/Superman and Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) as Lois Lane. Casting for Jimmy Olsen has yet to be announced. Two seasons of the series has already been ordered.

The official description for My Adventures With Superman can be found below.

“In this serialized coming-of-age story, we follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis – and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.”

With the Man of Steel gaining momentum in pop culture once again with Justice League and Superman & Lois on The CW, it’s about time for a fresh animated update for the new generations that are just discovering the hero.
