Elizabeth Olsen Wins Best Performance in a Show at the MTV Movie and TV Awards!

Elizabeth Olsen has won the Best Performance in a Show award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards for her role as Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision!
This was the first of WandaVision‘s win for the night. The show was nominated for five awards including Best Hero (that went to Anthony Mackie for his role as Falcon/Captain America) Best Villain, Best Fight, and Best Show.
WandaVision premiered in January as the first project of Marvel’s pandemic-delayed Phase 4, as well as the first of many Marvel series heading to Disney+. It charmed audiences with its unconventional take on the superhero genre, its mystery, and its heartfelt performances by the entire cast.
It took the world by storm as fans speculated, audiences crashed Disney+ at 12 a.m. PT, and Funko Pop!s flew off the shelves faster than manufacturers could supply them.
The show is vying for some Emmy nominations this year, and hopefully this bodes well for its chances on TV’s biggest stage.
You can watch all nine episodes of WandaVision now on Disney+ and stay tuned to see if it takes home anymore gold tonight at the MTV Movie and TV Awards!
