Kathryn Hahn Joins the ‘Knives Out 2’ Ensemble
The ensemble cast of Knives Out 2 just got a bit more magical — Marvel Studios’ WandaVision fan-favorite baddie Kathryn Hahn has joined the lineup for the highly anticipated sequel.
Hahn’s announcement comes on the heels of Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monáe, with Daniel Craig set to reprise his role as the star sleuth Benoit Blanc.
Following the success of the 2019 sensation, Netflix bought the rights to two Knives Out sequels to be penned and directed by Rian Johnson after a $468 million dollar deal.
No details on the plot or any specific roles have been released, but the film is set to start production in Greece this summer.
The first installment of Knives Out was critically acclaimed, earning Johnson numerous award nominations including Best Original Screenplay at the 2020 Oscars. It starred an exceptional ensemble cast alongside the franchise character played by Craig including Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas (who would also go on to receive multiple award nominations for her role), Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Michael Shannon, Katherine Langford, Don Johnson, LaKeith Stanfield, and the late Christopher Plummer.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Knives Out sequel as they unfold!
