Looks like Riverdale fans will have to wait a little longer to see what happens not only after inmates escaped from Hiram’s prison, but also what happened to Jughead after he followed a bright light outside the bunker and what Betty is up to after she left Pop’s in a truck in search of Polly.
Multiple CW shows have received summer premiere dates, including a new one for Riverdale, which is currently on a midseason hiatus. Deadline reports that the drama has moved from its July 7 date to August 11.
Although the new date is even longer than intended, the wait will be worth it. Check out a promo for the new episodes here and be sure to watch Riverdale when it returns on Wednesday, August 11 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on The CW!
