The return of Superman & Lois to The CW is in just a few weeks. For those looking for another way to watch the show, HBO Max has made the first five episodes available for a limited time. Until May 17 (the show returns May 18) fans of the Man of Steel will be able to catch up with the show on the streaming service.

Superman & Lois‘ premiere on The CW was highly anticipated and it produced the largest primetime response in the 8 p.m. slot in the last two years. It also saw the largest day-one streaming audience for a new series in the history of the network.

Superman & Lois sees the Kent family — Clark (Tyler Hoechlin), Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch), and their two twin boys Jordan (Alex Garfin) and Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) — as they move their lives to Smallville in hopes of a fresh start. As they try to find their balance and keep their family secret in the small town, threats in many forms are on the horizon.

The series also stars Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge, Stacey Farber as Leslie Larr, Sofia Hasmik as Chrissy Beppo, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, and Wolé Parks as Captain Luthor.

Superman & Lois returns May 18 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. Be sure to check out all of our other coverage of the show.
