Release Date for ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Pushed Back One Week

After an earlier date change in March, the sequel to 2018’s Venom, titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has been pushed back by one week from its latest September 17 date. The movie will now release in theaters on September 24.

Tom hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock/Venom for the sequel. Venom 2 will also see the return of Michelle Williams as Anne. Woody Harrelson, Naomie Harris, and Reid Scott will join Williams and Hardy. Andy Serkis directs the screenplay written by Kelly Marcel.

Venom follows former reporter Eddie Brock, who soon comes into contact with an alien symbiote after losing his job. As Eddie and the symbiote bond, the two face off against a greater enemy looking to destroy everything in its path.
