‘Love and Monsters’ Starring Dylan O’Brien Nominated for an Oscar!


The official list of nominees for this year’s Oscars ceremony has been announced, and Love and Monsters is nominated for an Oscar in the Visual Effects category! The Academy Awards offer the highest honors in filmmaking.

One of the biggest cinematic successes out of 2020, Love and Monsters, Directed by Michael Matthews, follows Dylan O’Brien in the title role as Joel Dawson, seven years after the monsterpocalypse. Joel, along with the rest of humanity, has taken shelter underground due to the creatures taking over the land. When Joel reconnects with his former girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick) he decides to make the rash decision to go against everything he knows about the dangerous monsters that stand in his way to travel 80 miles to the coastal colony where she is located.

Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead), Arianna Greenblatt (Scoob, Avengers: Infinity War), and Dan Ewing (Occupation) also star.

The 93rd annual Oscars ceremony will broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET.
