Though some will know Mackie best for his portrayal of Sam Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, others may recognize him from previous projects such as The Hurt Locker, Altered Carbon, and The Banker. His latest film — a Netflix Original titled Outside the Wire — hit the screaming service earlier this year.
The six-episode miniseries The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 19. Mackie will be joined by Sebastian Stan, who is reprising his role as Bucky Barnes. The show will see the two team up on a global adventure that tests their skills and their patience.
