Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman To Launch New Podcast ‘I Hate Myself’

According to Variety, Joe Trohman, lead guitarist from Fall Out Boy and The Damned Things, has set his sights on the podcast world. Trohman will release his new podcast, I Hate Myself, on March 17. Co-hosted by television comedy writer Wade Randolph (Rick and Morty, Uncle Grandpa), I Hate Myself will focus on mental health issues and will feature interviews with celebrities and creatives who will speak about living with depression and anxiety.

a podcast hosted by Joe Trohman, co-founder of Fall Out Boy. This unscripted series features in-depth interviews with celebrities, creators, and other “successful-types,” discussing how mental health has impacted their lives, coping mechanisms they’ve learned, and how they’re able to thrive while living with depression and anxiety. 

A clinically depressed “man” with over two decades of psychotherapy under his tool-belt, Joe, along with his co-host, comedy writer Wade Randolph, will be just the tool you’ve always needed for every sad and stressful occasion!”

I Hate Myself is produced By Joe Trohman, Matthew Medney, David Erwin, Tommy Coriale, Jon Lullo, Brendan Walter, Ari Lubet, and Mike Sgalambro in association with Heavy Metal Entertainment and Crush Pictures.

The first episode will feature actor Seth Green. Other guests to appear during season one are director and writer George C. Romero, YouTube and TikTok star Emma Chamberlain, voice actor Ron Funches, and actor Ryan Simpkins.

Episodes of I Hate Myself will be available every Wednesday, starting with the debut episode on March 17, and can be found on any major platform where you listen to podcasts.
