Showtime’s ‘Dexter’ Revival Casts Paralympian Katy Sullivan
The forthcoming Dexter revival has begun filming, but that doesn’t mean they’re done casting quite yet.
The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively announced that Paralympian and actress Katy Sullivan will join the show in a recurring role. Sullivan will play Esther, who is a dispatcher for Iron Lake PD.
Sullivan joins the recently announced Jamie Chung, Oscar Wahlberg, and Michael Cyril Creighton. Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, David Magidoff, Clancy Brown, and Jack Alcott also joined the cast. Michael C. Hall will reprise his role as Dexter Morgan.
The upcoming season is set to be a 10-episode limited run. It will see the return of Dexter Morgan, who now resides in the town of Iron Lake in upstate New York. While we still don’t know too much about what Dexter’s been up to (besides being a lumberjack), Sullivan’s casting continues to confirm that Iron Lake PD will play a major role.
Dexter is currently filming and is scheduled to release sometime this Fall. Keep up with our coverage here.
The entire original run of Dexter is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
