The Final Season of ‘The Walking Dead’ Coming This Summer

During the 10C premiere “Home Sweet Home,” AMC aired a preview teasing the upcoming 11th and final season of The Walking Dead. It was previously announced that the show would air its final season beginning this fall. Production on the season was supposed to begin in the spring of last year, but COVID-19 caused an industry-wide shutdown. It is now currently underway in Georgia and will consist of 24 episodes.

The Walking Dead is currently airing its six 10C episodes, which will air every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
