Recently, Coby Bell appeared on the talk to discuss his newest role as Captain James on Walker — a reboot of Chuck Norris’ Walker, Texas Ranger — starring Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Genevieve Padalecki, Coby Bell, Odette Annable, Mitch Pileggi, and more. If you haven’t already, check out the segment below.

Bell plays Captain James on the show, the former partner and new boss of Cordell Walker (Jared Padalecki) in the Rangers. In the interview, he talks about his wardrobe on the show, specifically the cowboy hats he gets to wear. He also discusses the winter storms and how it affected Texans, including the cast, as the show films in Austin.

We can’t wait to see what Bell gets up to next as Captain James, especially in the wake of the upcoming joint storyline with Keegan Allen’s character, Liam. Bell teases the two characters will be digging deeper into the mysterious death of Cordell’s wife Emily (Genevieve Padalecki).

Walker airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on The CW. For all things Walker, make sure to check out our coverage here, which includes recaps as well as stills and descriptions for upcoming episodes.
