Season 2 of Batwoman premiered last night, January 17, ushering in a new character, Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie), and thus a new Batwoman and setting the tone for the rest of the season. The CW is already prepping viewers for next week’s episode, releasing the trailer for the second episode of the season, “Prior Criminal History.”
The brief clip shows Ryan ready to take on the criminals of Gotham, citing her own history with them as a reason she’s not worried. She meets Sophie, steps into the batsuit, and has a confrontation with the person who plays a major part in Ryan’s search for justice.
