New Episode Description Released for ‘Prodigal Son’ Season 2, Episode 4: “Take Your Father To Work Day”

FOX has released a new description for episode four of season two of Prodigal Son! Titled “Take Your Father to Work Day”, the episode promises to be another  father-son bonding activity for our favorite duo.

Martin is delighted when a murder at Claremont Psychiatric brings the NYPD into his territory, allowing him direct involvement with one of Malcolm’s cases. While working the same job, Ainsley’s suspicion grows when she feels Malcolm may be hiding something from her. All the while, Malcolm and Ainsley must dodge their mother, who’s wondering why they got rid of her favorite rug in the all-new “Take Your Father to Work Day” episode of PRODIGAL SON airing Tuesday, Feb. 2 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (PR-204) (TV-14 D, L, V)

Cast: Tom Payne as Malcolm Bright; Michael Sheen as Dr. Martin Whitly; Bellamy Young as Jessica Whitly; Lou Diamond Phillips as Gil Arroyo; Aurora Perrineau as Dani Powell; Frank Harts as JT Tarmel; Halston Sage as Ainsley Whitly; Keiko Agena as Dr. Edrisa Tanaka

Guest Cast: Christian Borle as Friar Pete; Esau Pritchett as Mr. David; Michael Chernus as Jerry; Michael Potts as Dr. Brandon Marsh; Armando Acevedo as Hector; Sarah Hunt as Rhonda Young; Triney Sandoval as Vincent Espinal; Joe Gately as Andre; Jakob Von Eichel as Hans

Looks like we’ll also be seeing more of Jerry in this episode, which is more than welcome after his scene-stealing in the premiere. Will Jessica get justice for her favorite rug? Will Malcolm crack under Ainsley’s pressure? These are all questions we’ll have to wait until February 2 to hear the answer to. Prodigal Son airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX, with previous episodes available on Hulu and FOX Now. You can also see our recaps and other content here.
