Any fan of Supernatural knows the importance of Lawrence, Kansas. The hometown of Sam and Dean Winchester recently put out a proclamation declaring Lawrence as the official hometown of the Winchesters, commemorating the show’s 15 year legacy of good.

Fans of the show found this sentiment beautiful, with the proclamation reminding people of the core themes of family, community, bravery, and loyalty that pervade the show. While Supernatural may be over for now, this proclamation was one more way of showing fans that the legacy and sense of community that Supernatural has built will never die.
