From the creative mind of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the United States’ founding fathers. Hamilton was an immigrant from the West Indies who worked his way up to become George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and the new nation’s Treasury Secretary. With a blend of Hip-hop, Rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is a story of America then, told by America now.

The groundbreaking musical has taken Broadway by storm and now, the world. Lin-Manuel Miranda has announced that Hamilton is heading to Hamburg, Germany in 2021. The production will be done completely in German. The announcement was made on November 14, from the official Hamilton Twitter page.

The German-language production of Hamilton will be produced through the German stage company Stage Entertainment. Let us know in the comments below what other languages you would like to see Hamilton in.
