One Last Ride for the Winchesters: New Information Concerning the ‘Supernatural’ Finale and Celebratory Send-Off Special

The End is nigh…literally.

With only three episodes left in the series, Supernatural will be closing its phenomenal 15-year run out on November 19 with the 20th and final episode “Carry On.” Because the finale won’t be heart-wrenching enough, a celebratory send-off episode for the show titled “Supernatural — The Long Road Home” will also be airing the same night. Synopses for both of these final chapters in the Winchesters’ journey have recently been released by The CW and are as follows:

  • Series Finale: “Carry On” – 9PM ET/PT November 19
THE END – After 15 seasons, the longest running sci fi series in the US is coming to an end. Baby, it’s the final ride for saving people and hunting things. The episode was directed by Robert
Singer and written by Andrew Dabb (#1520). Original airdate 11/19/2020
  • “Supernatural – The Long Road Home” – 8PM ET/PT November 19
A CELEBRATORY EPISODE – Get ready for the finale with cast interviews from Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert, with creator Eric Kripke, executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb, and special guest stars Jim Beaver, Samantha Smith, Ruth Connell, Kim Rhodes and Mark Sheppard. Original airdate 11/19/2020.

The Winchesters’ journey has been one filled with trials, tribulations, loss, and sorrow but also perseverance, brotherhood, family, and great victories. While the final episode may be bittersweet, we’re sure that the journey the two brothers have undergone and the unique familial sentiments that pervade both the show and the fandom will shine through, making for an ending that we will never forget. We can’t wait to see what these two special episodes have in store. Until we hear those fateful lyrics play for the last time…carry on.

Supernatural’s finale and send-off special will air on November 19. Don’t miss it, and stay tuned for more updates.
