Fan’s of the superhero drama Batwoman were in for a special treat today. The official Batwoman Twitter page has released the first look images of Javicia Leslie as Batwoman.

Cast as the new series lead for the hit CW show, Leslie will be playing Ryan Wilder, Gotham Cities’ new Batwoman, replacing Ruby Roses Kate Kane. Leslie will be joined by a cast of new faces including, Shivani Ghai (Dominion), who will be playing Safiyah Sohail, Alex Morf (Gotham), who will be playing a villain named Victor Zsasz, Leah Gibson (Jessica Jones) will play Tatiana, aka “The Whisper” one of Safiyah’s most trusted henchmen and Nathan Owens (Devious Minds), who will play zen gardener Ocean.
Batwoman will return in January for season two on the CW, with season one streaming on The CW app for free and HBO Max.
