Deadline has announced that the new HBO Max comedy series, The Sex Lives of College Girls, has found its lead cast! The show’s stars will be Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Renée Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott. The group will play four students and roommates at New England Essex College. The show will be the TV debut for Chalamet, Rapp, and Scott.

Chalamet will take on the role of Kimberly, an ambitious student ready to take on the academic challenges of college, but not so much the social ones. Kaur will play Bela, who’s confident, sex-positive, a comedy enthusiast. Rapp’s character is Leighton, a fourth-generation legacy student at the college who’s more reserved but viewed as entitled by her roommates. Scott will play Whitney, the “soon-to-be-star of the university’s college team” and the daughter of the most powerful Black senator in the country.

The series is created and produced by Mindy Kaling, who will co-write with Justin Noble.
