With Supernatural kicking off its final run of episodes, series star Jensen Ackles and his wife, actress and philanthropist Danneel Ackles, have announced their next big project, starting their own production company. The new company will be called Chaos Machine Productions and has entered into a production deal with Warner Bros. Television. Warner Bros. Television has produced Supernatural since the beginning, and in a statement to the media, Jensen Ackles expanded on the reason for their new partnership:
Warner Bros. has been my home for the better part of two decades. The relationships I have acquired there are some of the finest and most supportive I could have hoped for in this industry. Danneel and I are thrilled for the opportunity to continue to grow as artists and now as a producers under the mentorship and guidance of Peter Roth and the whole WBTV team.
Both Danneel Ackles and Jensen Ackles commented on the news on social media:
So happy to continue our journey with Warner Bros! https://t.co/itAyvCxIqC

This isn’t the only post-Supernatural project for Jensen, who also recently announced he would join the cast of The Boys for the third season. Danneel and Jensen previously worked together on Supernatural, where Danneel recurred as angel Anael, and on the film Ten Inch Hero.
