‘Mr. Mercedes’ Finds a New Life on NBC’s Peacock
Mr. Mercedes has found a new home: NBC’s new streaming service Peacock. The show previously ran on Audience Network before AT&T retooled the network as a preview for HBO Max.
On October 15, the first two seasons of the crime thriller will be available for streaming. Season 3 has been announced but there is no premiere date for the show.
The show is based on Stephen King’s book of the same name. Other cast members include Justine Lupe (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men), Scott Lawrence (Cloverfield), Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight), Kelly Lynch (Road House), Breeda Wool (Unreal), and Robert Stanton (Dennis the Menace).
David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) and Stephen King serve as executive producers of Mr. Mercedes.
