Selena Gomez Is Checking Into ‘Hotel Transylvania 4’ As Mavis and Executive Producer

Selena Gomez will be pulling double duty in the popular franchise Hotel Transylvania‘s fourth movie! Sony Pictures Animation has announced that Gomez will be returning to the beloved kids’ animation franchise as vampire Mavis, and will also be joining directors Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon as an executive producer.

Released in 2012, Hotel Transylvania starred Adam Sandler as Mavis’ dad, Count Dracula, Andy Samberg as Mavis’ human husband, Johnny, Kevin James as Frankenstein, Steve Buscemi as Wayne, and David Spade as Griffin — among other guest voices like Sandler’s children and wife (Sadie, Sunny, and Jackie), Cee-Lo Green, Keegan-Michael Key, Nick Offerman, Joe Jonas, and Chrissy Teigen.

Hotel Transylvania 2 was released in 2015 with Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation following in 2018. Although all three have received mixed reviews, the franchise has grossed $1.3 billion worldwide. Hotel Transylvania: The Series premiered on Disney Channel in 2017 about Mavis’ teen years. Five video games have also been released as well as two short films: Goodnight Mr. Foot and Puppy!

Hotel Transylvania 4 is set to release on August 6, 2021. Stay tuned for more updates!
