After the last teaser for The New Mutants offered a glimpse of a certain purple dragon, fans were excited to see if their suspicions about the alien’s appearance in the new film were correct. 20th Century Studios has answered their questions by releasing a short sneak peek of Lockheed, the purple alien from the X-Men comics. In this teaser, it seems the tiny extraterrestrial is teaming up with Illyana Rasputin, better known as Magik. They are a popular pair in the comic books, and fans have been looking forward to their on-screen team up.

The studio also released an official Spotify playlist with song selections from the cast and director Josh Boone, which you can listen to here. The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Maisie Williams, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga. It will open in theaters August 28.
