Season six is up for three Emmy nominations in Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, Outstanding Costumes, and Production Design for a Reality/Variety/Competition series; the show has garnered an Emmy nomination in the top variety sketch category every year since the category began in 2015 and has had 17 Primetime Emmy nominations in all, even winning Outstanding Costumes for a Variety Program or Special back in 2015.
The hilarious series touted a multitude of inebriated celebrities over the years, all telling little-known tales of history or well-known stories from historically neglected perspectives. Guests have included Tiffany Haddish, Winona Ryder, Seth Rogen, Tessa Thompson, Paget Brewster, Vanessa Hudgens, Will Ferrell, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
While the series will not be filming any new episodes, previous episodes will continue to air on television and streaming services. We’re so sad to see this series go. What was your favorite episode ofĀ Drunk History? Let us know in the comments.
