Karen M. McManus’ bestselling novel, One Of Us Is Lying, is heading to the small screen! According to Deadline, the series was ordered by Peacock for eight episodes. The young-adult mystery drama tells the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention, and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.

Darío Madrona, co-creator of Netflix’s Elite, is stepping in as showrunner and executive producer, Erica Saleh, who wrote the pilot, will also executive produce. Marianly Tejada (The Purge), Cooper van Grootel (Go!), Annalisa Cochrane (Into the Dark: Pure), Chibuikem Uche (Ghost Draft), Barrett Carnahan (Grown-ish), Jessica McLeod (You Me Her) and Melissa Collazo (Swamp Thing) make up the ensemble cast.
