Dollywood Announce Flower & Food Festival End Date and New Season Pass Offer

The Dollywood Flowers & Food Festival, presented by Covenant Health, is now set to end on August 2. The event offers visitors a chance to see the beautifully vibrant flowers in full bloom during the heat of a Tennessee summer. This is all made possible due to Dollywood’s award-winning landscape team’s efforts, who are keeping over 500,000 flowers in peak condition. Eugene Naughton, Vice President of Dollywood Parks Operations, had this to say about the festival,

The Flowers & Food Festival was originally planned to take place in the spring when the weather was much more favorable to the various types of plants used in our installations. It is an exciting new event we couldn’t wait to showcase, but the pandemic changed our plans. We still wanted to provide this immersive experience for our guests, so we had to move the festival into the heat of our summer. Our teams have stepped up to the challenge and given visitors and amazing festival to enjoy. I can’t tell you how many folks I’ve seen taking selfies in front of these beautiful Mosaicultures displays and the colorful Umbrella Sky. The event has been well received, and we’re proud that we’ve been able to make it work during June and July. But there are only a few weeks left, so if you haven’t seen it yet, now is the time to visit!

Dollywood has also announced an online exclusive, limited-time season pass promotion. From today until July 19, guests can purchase a two-park super pass for the price of a Dollywood season pass. These passes will provide guests admission into both Dollywood’s Splash Country and Dollywood through to June 15, 2021.

With Dollywood’s 35th anniversary season still running, there is plenty of things for guests to enjoy and look forward to. Such as Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, presented by Humana, which will run September 25 until October 31 and features Great Pumpkin LumiNights that will be presented by the Southern Gospel Jubilee and Covenant Health. The 35th anniversary season will end with Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas, presented by Humana, which has won the Best Theme Park Christmas Event 12 times. The Christmas event will begin November 14 and continue until January 2, 2021.
