Hulu Renews ‘The Great’ For Season 2!

Huzzah! Hulu has just renewed the popular dark comedy series The Great for a second season!

The show stars Elle Fanning as Catherine the Great of Russia, who over the course of season one plots to remove her doltish husband Peter (Nicholas Hoult) from power so that she can take his throne. The Great has received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike, particularly for Fanning and Hoult’s performances.

There is no word yet on when the second season will be slated to premiere or film, but it will be ten episodes like the first. The Great also stars Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Sebastian de Souza, Bayo Gbadamosi, and Belinda Bromilow.
