The band new stunt show The Bourne Stuntacular is set to have its grand opening on June 30 at the Universal Orlando Resort!

The stunt show, based on the blockbusting Universal Pictures film franchise Bourne, is the most technologically advanced stunt show to date. The new show allows you to become fully immersed within the world of Jason Bourne via the groundbreaking technology employed for the show. There is high tech props, practical effects that allow the guests to feel the heat of the flames and gusts of wind, an immense LED screen and live performers that will be executing amazing stunts at heights of up to 22 feet.

It was so rewarding to work closely with the Universal Orlando team to create an experience that is authentic to the ‘Bourne’ films. After watching the show several times and providing the team with creative input, I can truly say ‘The Bourne Stuntacular’ not only stays true to the essence of the films, but also delivers next level action that will make guests feel like they are by Jason Bourne’s side.

For those that are hoping for a sneak peak of the epic stunt show before it is officially open, you’re in luck! Universal Orlando will be giving a virtual look at the show on June 29. This virtual debut will contain a behind the scenes look at what it took to create the show, feature guests from the Bourne films, as well as a preview of the epic stunt show itself. The sneak peak will be at 7 p.m ET on Universal Orlando’s Youtube here. Make sure to follow them on Twitter and Instagram for exclusive highlights about the stunt show and download the Universal Orlando App to see what the show times are.

When guests enter the attraction they are surrounded by props, clips, and images from the films. The have the car from the chase seen in The Bourne Identity and Jason’s motorcycle from The Bourne Ultimatum. The guests will be briefed at mission headquarters by Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) before heading to the theater. At the theater they will get to join Jason Bourne as he travels across Tangier, Washington, D.C and Dubai attempting to uncover classified information whilst trying to evade capture and danger every step of the way.

Universal Orlando has implemented new procedures for their outdoor theaters for the health and safety of guests and team members. This will include appropriate spacing between seating, entering and exiting the show to help maintain the correct social distancing for everyone, as well as sanitizing high touch surfaces between each show. All guests will be required to wear a face covering during The Bourne Stuntacular. Due to these procedures the show capacity will be limited and wait times may be longer than normal for guests to experience the show.
