The Terminal List has found its platform! The show will release on Amazon with a straight-to-series order following a multi-outlet bidding war. The series was put on the market back in February. Chris Pratt will star and executive produce with director Antoine Fuqua, who Pratt worked with on The Magnificent Seven.
The Terminal List is based on the Jack Carr novel of the same name and tells the story of Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Pratt), a Navy Seal whose entire team was killed during a risky covert mission. Reece returns home to his family, but with haunting memories of the event. Soon he begins to question his own accountability. When new evidence from the tragic encounter surfaces, Reece will discover that the attack wasn’t an act of war by a foreign agency, but a conspiracy by the highest levels of the American government.
The Terminal List will be Pratt’s first recurring role in a series since the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation. Pratt has primarily focused on feature films like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, and Pixar’s Onward.
IMDb has the series listed as in development. There’s currently no further information on a release date or who else will star in the series with Pratt.
