Buckle up and get ready for an experience that’s out of this world. Greg Daniels — who developed the US version of The Office, creator of Upload, and co-creator of Parks and Recreation — has teamed up with former The Office star Steve Carell to bring a brand new comedy to our screens called Space Force, and Netflix has released the first trailer.

The trailer gives an inside look to what would be the inner workings of Space Force if it were an actual branch, except with a slightly inflated degree of ridiculousness. Steve Carell falls easily back into the comedy he’s so well known for, playing a general who takes things more seriously than he probably needs to, much to the annoyance of his staff. Based on the trailer alone, Space Force will be a show full of laughs with a wonderful ensemble cast along with it. Watch the teaser below

Space Force will follow General Mark R. Naird (Carell), a military general who’s been tasked with helping to create the Space Force — the sixth branch of the military. Along with Carell, the series will star John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Diana Silvers, Fred Willard, Tawny Newsome, Owen Daniels, and Noah Emmerich. Season one will be 10 episodes.

Space Force lands on Netflix on May 29.
