During these uncertain times, being cooped up at home has become the new normal for many people, but that hasn’t stopped artists everywhere from taking to the internet to provide fresh new content while doing charitable work for those in need.

Ska-Punk band Less Than Jake has fused the two together, launching their first installment of Lost at Home Sessions: Volume One, “Just Like Andy.” The digital track is now available for purchase at Bandcamp. It is $5.00 USD, with proceeds benefiting MusiCares.
MusiCares is an affiliated charitable foundation to The Recording Academy. The two have come together to establish the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help those in the music community affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
For those unfamiliar with MusiCares, the charity provides critical assistance for people in music. Each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. Services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical, and personal emergencies. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly influence the health and welfare of the music community.

Not only will you be helping a charitable cause, but those who purchase the song at the current price will automatically be entered to win a prize pack that includes an old and rare glow-in-the-dark bobblehead and some out of print vinyl. But you have to hurry, because the contest ends on May 22. Make sure to stay on the lookout for Volume Two.
