Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions have announced release dates for two highly anticipated games: The Last of Us Part 2 coming out June 19, and Ghost of Tsushima coming out July 17, both on PlayStation 4.
The Last of Us Part 2 was originally scheduled to come out on May 29 but received an indefinite delay at the beginning of April due to the Coronavirus. Leaks of massive storylines of the game appeared this past weekend, and we now have a release date for gamers to fully enjoy the story. The game is being developed by Naughty Dog with Sony Interactive Entertainment publishing it.
The game is set five years after the events of The Last of Us, with Ellie now 19-years-old going through different events in the post-apocalyptic world. It will be played from the third-person perspective and contains survival horror elements, similar to its predecessor, where the player will be fighting against hostile humans and zombie-like creatures that have been affected by a strain of a virus.
